Privacy statement - GDPR
This privacy policy applies to BeeKi AS, which develops its own skin care products, and explains why we collect information about you, how we use this information and how we take your privacy into account.
BeeKi AS, by the general manager, is responsible for processing the company's personal data.
BeeKi AS processes personal data in accordance with the Personal Data Act. The declaration contains information you are entitled to when information is collected from our websites (Personal Data Act § 19) and general information about how we process personal data (Personal Data Act § 18 subsection 1).
Data processor for BeeKi AS is Wix with subcontractors. Wix is our website maintenance provider.
BeeKi AS' basis for processing personal data will vary, but in accordance with the Personal Data Act § 8 letters a and b will consist of consent from the registered or because it is required by law. Furthermore, it may be necessary to process personal data to fulfill an agreement with the data subject or to fulfill a legal obligation.
Consent to the processing of personal data can be withdrawn at any time
in accordance with GDPR article 13 (2) letter c.
1. About personal data and the regulations
Personal data is information and assessments that can be linked to an identifiable individual. This can be name, address, telephone number, e-mail address, IP address and purchase and behavior history.
2. What kind of information we collect
In order to be able to deliver the best services possible, we are dependent on collecting various
types of information, including personal data about you.
Below is an overview of how we typically collect personal data and what information this typically is. We do not collect sensitive information.
Below you can see typical information we collect, and how:
a) Information you give us yourself
It is voluntary for those who visit BeeKi.no to provide personal information in connection with services, for example
to receive newsletters or shop for products. The basis for processing is consent from the individual;
when you register, or shop, on our website, you must provide some information that is stored
by us, such as name, address, email address and mobile number.
This information is used for sending/shipping products, and/or to provide you with offers and news.
All blog entries and associated comments are archived in line with archive legislation.
You can leave comments without registering, or you can choose to register with your name and address (which will then be left as part of the post). If you wish to change or delete your comment, you can contact us so that we can consider it. However, you are not entitled to correction or deletion of statements.
b) Information we obtain through use of our services
When you use our services, we record information about which services you use and how you use them.
We collect, among other things, information about which pages you are on, when you are on the pages and which ones
functions you have used on the pages.
c) Cookies and other content that is stored locally
When you use our services or visit our websites, cookies and other data are stored
in order to be able to improve the customer's user experience, and keep internal sales statistics.
d) Automatic assessments
Through analysis of your purchases and behavior, automatic categorization of you as a customer can be derived.
3. What is the information used for?
We use personal data for the following purposes:
a) Newsletter
BeeKi AS sends out newsletters a maximum of 2 times per month via e-mail, and you must register your e-mail address to receive this. The e-mail address is stored in a separate database, is not shared with others and is deleted when you cancel the subscription. The email address is also deleted if we receive feedback that it is not active. Data processor for the newsletter is Wix.
b) Handling of orders
Personal information (name, address, e-mail and telephone number) you leave when shopping at BeeKi.no is only used to handle your order. When you shop for products, you can also sign up for our newsletter.
c) To improve digital communication and advertising
We use your personal data to improve our advertising. By creating a profile with us, you accept targeted advertising through programmatic purchases and targeted advertising through social media where your personal data will be used to purchase such advertising.
d) Online statistics
In order to be able to improve and further develop the information on offer at www.BeeKi.no prepares
we statistics that are based on information about your visit to our website. As far as is practically possible
we try to do this with anonymous information, without us knowing that the information is linked specifically to you.
We use the analysis tool Google Analytics, a tool with open source code (GPL) and which is installed on a separate server at the operating provider. Information from this tool is not disclosed by BeeKi AS to other actors.
e) To prevent misuse of our services
We use personal data to prevent misuse of our services. Abuse can be attempts to log into other people's accounts, attempts at fraud, "spamming", incitement, harassment and other actions prohibited by Norwegian law.
4. Sharing of information
BeeKi AS can only share personal data with other companies that perform services on our behalf. This is primarily to give you a safer and better user experience. Here are the most important examples:
a) When others perform services on our behalf
For example web and marketing agencies to operate the services and carry out
targeted marketing and creating campaigns.
They are not allowed to use this personal information for anything other than performing services for BeeKi AS.
b) In case of suspicion of an offence
If we suspect a violation of the law, information can be handed over to public authorities upon request.
We will also be able to hand over information in the event of suspicion of fraud, or information that is necessary to
clarify specific disputes.
5. Deletion of personal data
We are required by law to store certain personal data. Examples of this are:
- Bookkeeping Act
- Order data according to right of withdrawal
If you have a user account with us, we save your purchase history (overview of which products you have bought)
for 12 months in your user profile. We delete your card number three months after the purchase took place,
unless you ask us to save the information for the next purchase.
We store transactions and payment information for 5 years in accordance with the Bookkeeping Act.
You have the right to have all our information about you deleted on request, if we are not required by law to store it. Those who are registered in one of BeeKi AS's systems have the right to access their own information and to request that incorrect or incomplete information be corrected, deleted or supplemented.

6. Email and telephone
BeeKi AS uses telephone and e-mail for dialogue with internal and external contacts.
Every employee at BeeKi AS is responsible for deleting correspondence that is no longer relevant,
and at least annually review and delete unnecessary information in the e-mail box.
Sensitive personal data must not be sent by e-mail.
Normal e-mail is unencrypted and we therefore encourage you not to send confidential, sensitive or other confidential information via e-mail.
7. Especially about marketing in e-mail and SMS
If you have an active customer relationship with us, we can send you marketing by e-mail or with others
electronic communication methods in accordance with Section 15 of the Marketing Act. This includes newsletters
and other inquiries regarding content, services, offers, campaigns and events from us,
via e-mail, phone, SMS and social media.
If, on the other hand, you do not have an active customer relationship, we will only send such marketing if you have given us your consent to this. Your personal data can also be used to customize this communication.
You can unsubscribe from marketing inquiries easily and free of charge at any time through the unsubscribe function in the e-mails/SMS.
8. Changes to the privacy policy
We will periodically be able to update or change the privacy policy.
In the event of major changes, we will inform you of this.
9. Right to complain
You have the right to complain to a supervisory authority, here the Data Protection Authority, in accordance with GDPR article 13 (2) letter d.
